First Visit Expectations

We want to get to know you just as much as we want you to get to know us on your first visit!



Our team is happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have about our practice. During your first visit, our team will ask questions about your medical and dental history. Certain medical conditions or medications can impact your treatment plan, so we will also ask you to list any medications you are taking and their dosages (including vitamins and supplements).

We will then perform a comprehensive oral exam. This may include x-rays and a non-invasive oral cancer screening. If no signs of periodontal disease are present, we will continue with a routine cleaning. If we do notice signs of periodontal disease, we may ask you to reschedule the cleaning portion of your appointment to allow more time for a thorough cleaning.

Once your exam is finished, we will discuss our findings with you. Together, we will create a treatment plan that best fits your dental desires, while also giving you a healthy smile.
